Sheep's Head

We decided to brave it again - lashing as we went towards Kilcrohane but by the time we'd got to the end of the Peninsula the sun was out. We went widdershins along the northside, very boggy and rocky underfoot but some spectacular cliffs, little lakes and a lot of fresh air. We thought w were going to get drenched on the way back and watched as the rain seemed to hurtle towards us then split and went each side- one curtain of rain down the Bantry Bay and a lesser shower down Dunmanus Bay. As the sun emerged we saw a sundog, in fact we saw the whole halo around the sun.
Mission Impossible 4 last night what on earth was going on? Tonight's still being debated. Will home tomorrow sadly.
