Cold and wet

It’s rained for most of the day. There were tiny half-sunny intervals that only seemed to last five minutes before more heavy showers appeared. To even make it to the bird feeders and back without being caught in the rain was a miracle. This is just the view from my window. The photo looks a bit murky because it was actually raining when I took the photo.

I had to go to Tesco and my neighbour wanted me to get her some canned peaches. I don’t normally buy them so didn’t know where they were. I went up and down the aisle labelled ‘canned food’ twice but failed to find the peaches. It was an equally difficult search to find a staff member to ask. ‘Oh, she said, ‘tinned food isn’t always in the tinned food aisle. The peaches are down there, at the end where the bread is.’

So now I know!
