Getting wet

Its been a cold but sunny day and we decided to head to Lyme Regis.  We arrived when the tide was in and could see waves rising over the Cob from a distance.  We wandered down to the Cob and I took a few shots of the boats in the harbour.  The waves didn't seem so high as people were walking further out along the Cob by the harbour.  We made it to the area where a few buildings are located and I chose to stand slightly higher than ground level which was fortunate.   I was taking a few shots of the sea spray which began to break on the Cobb wall and quickly became much stronger.  A young family very rapidly moved away and probably caught some of the spray.  We retreated to the main sea front which was very busy with people enjoying the sunshine and lovely views.  

We then had a quick walk around the town followed by lunch in a local cafe.  Good to be out somewhere we haven't visited for sometime. On the way home we stopped off for at a supermarket so the fridge is all stocked up again.  A great relaxing day out.
