Close encounters

Inspired by a Boab's (think it was him but I can't find the blip now that I look back) blip a while ago featuring a coupler ring, I thought I'd play with my all but dead DSLR to see if I could get a macro shot of one of the tiny snails in the fish tank.

I don't have a coupler ring, so I just held the lenses together as best I could. The result isn't too bad considering. This little fella is only about 3 or 4mm in diameter.

(Note to self - think it's time to clean the algae from the glass.)
