Two brothers, One Daughter.

You guess which brother is the father…..

It’s been a fun day of herding cats. Julia wanted to go for a walk, to Trail House, wine tasting and to the yarn shop. All the men in the family wanted to go to Russian River Brewing, which isn’t far from the yarn store. There was some thought of combining missions but that became far too complicated, so we divided and conquered.

Getting Julia out of bed was a bit of a chore but eventually Matt and John, Julia and I took Spike up to the meadow and then repaired to Trail House where Tim, driving up from the Bay Area met us.

Returning home, it took the next couple of hours to organize the brewery, wine and yarn store expeditions. Julia has taken up knitting, and I have been offering advice if solicited.
The Russian River contingent including Will and Peter wound up at the Russian River flagship brewery in Windsor because the downtown one, which is small, was packed. Thank goodness Matt and Julia always have their phones attached to their persons because a single phone call was all that was needed for us to come home and not attempt to rondezvous with the beer drinkers.

Back at the ranch, tacos were procured and now Dana, Matt, Will, Peter and Julia have gone to Red Car winery in Sebastopol. Jim has been at home all day taking meetings on Zoom and making dinner.

Tim’s comment, “Times have changed now. The kids want to go to high end booze dispensaries instead of the park or the toy store….”
