A Mother's Love
Happy Mother's Day! I felt so blessed to be surrounded by my loved ones on Mother's Day. I thought a photo onLove for the May Heartfreek challenge would be perfect today.
I felt the love from the moment I woke up today. My sweet hubby has taken care of everything for me - from an early breakfast before church, preparing lunch, being my nurse after I had a nasty fall off my bike, making dinner for 10, and cleaning up the whole mess himself. That is love! He really did deserve being blipped today. But for this special day of honoring Mothers, a photo of Mothers it is! In order, is my Mom, myself and Moira, my daughter and my mother-in-law.
Enjoy this wonderful poem on Mothers.
A Mother's Love by Helen Steiner Rice
A Mother's love is something?that no one can explain,?It is made of deep devotion?and of sacrifice and pain,
It is endless and unselfish?and enduring come what may?For nothing can destroy it?or take that love away . . .
It is patient and forgiving?when all others are forsaking,?And it never fails or falters?even though the heart is breaking . . .
It believes beyond believing?when the world around condemns,?And it glows with all the beauty?of the rarest, brightest gems . . .
It is far beyond defining,?it defies all explanation,?And it still remains a secret?like the mysteries of creation . . .
A many splendored miracle?man cannot understand? And another wondrous evidence?of God's tender guiding hand.
