Wet, wet , wet....

31 mm of rain at Feorlean before 9 o'clock this morning wasn't a record (we have had over 70 mm in a day on one occasion) but it was still quite a downpour and where there was more - as in Glasgow , Gourock and further south - railway tracks and roads were flooded.   

Higher up and further from the sea there was snow , as here near Clachaig,  but by the time we drove to Dunoon it was turning slushy .

12 years ago today was the last time I didn't do a daily blip , so this marks the end of the 12th consecutive year of posting.   13 starts tomorrow, so I will see if I can find something appropriate for that anniversary.
