Steller's jay

Although these jays are not rare here in the West, I rarely see them. So it is always a pleasure to catch sight of one.
As I was checking Google for the correct spelling of Steller's (it's so tempting to spell it as "stellar"), I learned that the Native Americans considered these as special birds that bring hope.
