Wild and wet

A rather wild and wet day today, as was yesterday when I confess I took this photo.

Have been concerned about our girls; they travelled down to the Manchester area yesterday to visit friends, and returning today by train could only get to Carlisle, as the Borders are experiencing very heavy weather.  They have been transferred to a coach, and are at present on the way home, having had a tour of the borders, it seems.  Hope they are soon home.

Heard just after 5pm that they are home safe.    Phew!!
