Lunch and a couple of pints

I “enjoyed” a very wet walk with Brodie this morning before retiring to my favourite pub in town ( The Prince of Wales ) for lunch, a couple of pints and a good blether. Jed has arrived in Aberdeen to spend some time with Isla and it makes a lovely change to have some young folk around the house.

My thoughts are with my colleagues in the NHS who are working over the holiday period. I understand it’s exceptionally challenging in hospitals at the moment due to patient demand and lack of demand. I’m afraid the system is broken.
