Toings and froings

It was a very wet and windy night/morning and it was pitch black when we got up at 6.30am. Mr P took son no 1 to the airport (glad it wasn’t me driving). I tried unsuccessfully to get back to sleep. Off to to the Hydro late morning for a swim but we had to leave early to go and pick up son no 2’s girlfriend from Carluke (all the trains from Glasgow to Edinburgh were cancelled). This time I drove and some of the roads were so badly flooded I thought I’d have to turn back.
Mr P and I were out this evening at the Gilchimps. Delicious meal and fun games. My highlights were thechimp’s pithiviers and the sock game!
