Thank you to everyone who left such lovely comments, stars and hearts on my journal to mark 10 years on blip. You are all stars and too kind. I think I’ve thanked all of you who gave hearts. I’m sorry if I’ve missed anyone out.

We had rain of torrential and biblical quantities overnight and most of the morning curtailing any plans for the day. The weather abated just after lunch, giving a brief interlude punctuated by squally showers and strong icy winds.

We scooted out up to Threipmuir and Harlaw Reservoirs, dodging deep floods in places walking on paths which were more like streams and avoiding a thoughtless motorist who drove through one flooded area as we negotiating our way around the sides.
