Where is the good weather

Half way through May and the weather is foul. The white steaks on the photo are sleet driven on by strong winds. Admittedly we are 200 meters amsl.

I remember in my youth that May was always a warm dry month. This was the month that national school exams were held in Scotland.

I had hoped for better weather this week as I am on annual leave from work. I wanted to do some outside house maintenance, gardening and cycling. It also looks as though my planned trip to Edinburgh for the ODI between Scotland and Pakistan will be cancelled due to rain.
