311 day of war

Thank you all for your congratulations and support!
Today is the last day of the year and it feels like the whole year just flew by. After the start of the war, time seemed to go much faster, a lot of events happen every day, and there is no time to just relax from everything. Today and tomorrow we will have a day off, so I think I'll just sit at home and watch TV series, because I don't have the strength to do anything anymore)
We still have problems with light, but we can say that we are used to it and have adapted to it. I made another power bank from old batteries, so now we have enough charge for both lighting and watching something. Even began to find something good in these shutdowns. I have very noisy neighbors, and when the lights are turned off, it immediately becomes so quiet and calm, which is very pleasing)
Also, the other day we finally received "warm help" from the YaMariupol center. I didn't really have high hopes for her, but she turned out to be pretty good so far. They gave a small fan-heater, as well as bed linen and a large blanket. It will definitely not be superfluous)
There are almost no usual New Year's decorations and illuminations on the streets, they also decided not to put up a Christmas tree in the city, but decorated a live Christmas tree that grows in the center of the city. This is at least a little reminder that the new year has almost arrived
We won't be celebrating much this year, I think I'll cook a nice dinner and watch the president's address and go to bed. And tomorrow morning, as usual, we will wake up early and go feed the cats that live around. Because cats don't care about holidays, they want to eat every day) and Sunday morning, and even after the holidays, is the best time to walk through the empty streets and greet all your furry friends. By the way, through the daily feeding of cats, we got to know many people who do the same thing, which is good, because our circle of communication in the new city is quite limited and sometimes it is nice to have someone to talk to.

I have only one hope for next year - that the war will end and the deaths and suffering of many people that have been happening every day for the last year will end. It is still unclear what lies ahead, but there is no doubt that they will not be able to destroy us and we will exist as an independent state. It is only a matter of time

Дякую усім за поздоровлення та підтримку!
Сьогодні останній день року і таке враження що весь рік просто пролетів. Після початку війни час ніби став йти набагато швидше, дуже багато подій відбуваються кожен день, та не має часу щоб просто відпочити від усього. Сьогодні та завтра у нас буде вихідний, тому думаю просто сидіти вдома та дивитися серіали, бо сил щось робити вже немає)
У нас досі продовжуються проблеми зі світлом та зв'язком, але ми вже можна сказати звикли та пристосувалися до цього. Я зробив ще один пауербанк зі старих аккумуляторів, тому тепер нам вистачає заряду і на освітлення, і на те щоб щось подивитися. Навіть почав знаходити щось гарне у цих відключенннях. У мене дуже шумні сусіди, а коли світло вимикають то одразу стає так тихо та спокійно, що дуже радує)
Також на днях ми нарешті отримали "теплу допомогу" від центру "ЯМаріуполь". У мене особливо не було на неї сподівань, але вона виявилась досі непоганою. Дали невеличкий вентилятор-обігрівач, а також постільну білізну та велику ковдру. Зайвим це точно не буде)
На вулицях майже немає звичних новорічних прикрас та іллюмінації, ялинку у місті також вирішили не встановлювати, але прикрасили живу ялинку яка росте у центрі міста. Це хоч трішки нагадує що вже майже настав новий рік
Ми не будемо цього року особливо святкувати, я думаю приготувати смачну вечерю та подивитися звернення президента та піти спати. А завтра зранку, як завжди, ми рано прокинемось та підемо годувати котів що живуть навколо. Бо котам все одно на свята, їсти їм хочется кожний день) а зранку у неділю, та ще після свят - це найкращий час щоб прогулятися порожніми вулицями та привітати всіх пухнастих друзів. Доречі через щоденне годування котів ми познайомились з багатьма людьми що роблять теж саме і це добре, бо наше коло спілкування у новому місті досить обмежене та іноді приємно мати якогось співрозмовника.

На наступний рік у мене тільке одне сподівання - що війна закінчиться та закінчуться ті смерті та страждання багатьох людей, що останній рік відбуваються кожен день. Поки що незрозуміло що нас чекає попереду, але немає сумнівів що нас не зможуть знищити та ми будемо існувати як незалежна держава. Це лише питання часу та ціни, яку всім нам доводиться платити.
Я бажаю всім у наступному році всього найкращого, бо ви на це заслуговуєте!
