Family together

I worked out this morning that we'd see the fireworks from my room. The Marina will be mobbed. A party is planned.

After the usual coming and going about who is doing what #2 and H set off to Little India and Chinatown. The rest of us went to Jurong Bird Park. It closes on Tuesday to move to the Zoo area so food was difficult to get. But we did get some after a long queue. 

Walked a lot and it was hot and saw a lot of birds. Still think KL one is better. Getting home was a bit of a mission as we couldn't get a Grab but there was a shuttle bus to MRT so only took an hour.

#2 and C had arrived so that's everyone here. We went out to the famous satay food court, Lau Pau Sat. Our order seemed to get lost but after an hour if waiting and drinking beer it arrived. They close the street and bring out all the tables and stools. Great atmosphere.

Then we walked to Marina Bay to see the light show from the wrong side. But it was still good. Such iconic views.

But my legs were so sore by the time I got back, 23k steps!
