Strumblehead lighthouse

Very windy and wet it was. Therefore it was phtography from the car via the window mount. And a telephoto lens, as my quarry would be a good distance away. Luckily we live in Pembrokeshire, where the roads are very quiet. Useful when disabled as my hollering to stop requires the driver to pull over poste haste.
This is a stop we know well however, the ponies are not always in this field, being moved around through the winter by the farmer. This is a National park and a busy tourist location for walkers and sea bird enthusiasts. Not forgetting this amazing lighthouse.
There were a half dozen ponies merrily grazing here. It was just a matter of waiting for a pony to walk into shot.
I'm sure you can see how rough the sea is (yes the St. George Channel. Not as modern day teachers tell their pupils, an Ocean. We are an Island, British, not American.
