Smelling Better!

Frank hadn’t noticed that Bella must have sneaked off this morning and rolled in something - probably fox poo Yuk!
I marched her up to the shower and now she smells lovely for New Year!
This was taken just before she got a soaking and afterwards she got a big Whimzee doggie chew.

The bathroom was then cleaned thoroughly and the rest of the house given a once over too.

Frank is playing in our pub tonight with Andrew the mouthie player. All the rest of his band pals are away but the two of them sound great together anyway so it will be good. 

New Year 2023

It’s easy to set a challenge
When feeling positive at New Year
Resolutions made to do better
Over a glass of good cheer

Give up fags, give up drink
Eat healthy and take up sport,
Write a poem every day
Now - there’s a scary thought!

A whole year is a long time
And many things can go awry 
Family issues, life itself as
The days, weeks and months go by

This time will be different
I’m not setting myself goals
I’ll just take it as it comes
And let the New Year Roll
