Greenfinch in the rain

So here we are, on the last day of the year, with grey skies and heavy rain. I spent mostly in the kitchen, making stock from the turkey carcass, baking mince pies for tomorrow's New year Plant Hunt in Stamford, and preparing snacks for our small New Year's Eve gathering tonight. The only photographs taken today were through the window- the bird feeders are currently very busy!!
