Quiet and Damp Cockermouth

I know we were in town between the shops closing and the revellers going out, but Cockermouth was very quiet for New Years Eve.
We went down especially to take the lights., so a few in extras.
The picture with the young ladies on took me back 60 plus years for a moment, New Years Eve was always a good night in the town and then I had to be up for work on New Years day.
