Happy New Year!!!

Well Hogmanay hasn’t quite gone as planned. Three of our four pals not well so just us, Alan and Ally here to ring in the New Year. Actually just us as Alan’s gone to bed (his cold is still lingering and he’s not feeling 100%) and I suspect Ally may go to bed too incase she’s up with Alan during the night.

We still had our party food and David’s enjoying classic martinis and I’m on my second (and last) Cosmopolitan. The shortbread, stollen and Madeira cake are on the serving plate awaiting the bells, when I suspect I will herald the New Year in with a cuppa! That’s a first! Lol

PS As you can see I have dressed up for the occasion! Hahaha and Alan’s grin is in appreciation of the T-shirt that arrived from mr blip pal Patricia today. He loves Dolly Parton so the top is perfect! Thank you P and for all our lovely gifts :-)))
