New Year's Eve

SATURDAY - Nottingham

This afternoon we went for a walk around Attenborough Nature Reserve with Harriet and George (see extra). Harriet was keen to try out the Viking Kestrel binoculars that she received for Christmas. 

Tonight we all headed into Nottingham where we had a reservation at the Kushi-ya Japanese restaurant which has recently been listed in the Michelin guide. A very enjoyable meal with superb food.

Jay Rayner  (Guardian Food Critic) has just announced Kushi-ya as his restaurant of the year 2022.
