Cramond Island

From Silverknowes Beach. 

Was invited to join a group cycle ride starting at the Roseburn path and going to Silverknowes. A calm clear dry morning. Very pleasant riding, given the right insulating layers. The people are a subset of the 2ndSatStrollers walking group, so had met all of them before.  
The return path was along the seawall to Newhaven, where a brambling was spotted. Inland at the Trinity path. 

Rain came on in the early evening, and stayed on .. we watched the fireworks display from the front windows, appreciating being able to do that from indoors.
