Easy rider.

We didn't actually stay up last night, we went to bed to read, although we stayed awake (just) to  watch the fireworks from our bedroom window. We got up really late this morning, and we haven't done very much at all. A big improvement in the weather, and I actually have washing blowing on the line. My Dad, or maybe it was my Nan, used to say, wash on New years  day, wash your soul away. Now I know it's an old wives tale, but I still take heed (I washed the clothes yesterday) Looking forward to watching, Call the midwife and then Happy Valley after, all on BBC1.I found this photo, taken about eight years ago, in a drawer while looking for something else. It was taken by a friend,  who I met when I used to do open church.
