A trio of gates...

...for the first of 2023...
And thanks for all the good wishes yesterday - Happy New Year one and all!

We consulted the weather forecasts and chose our walking window wisely this aft... The BBC said to Roy "you'll be fine", whereas the Met Office said "get out straight after lunch Christine, it's going to rain later" ( I got my Sunday name ). I believed the MO, so we set off round the res straight after lunch, and then continued round the village as the sky was still bright. We even saw some sunshine - and chatted with a very relieved dog walker who has been soaking wet for days ;)  

Fingers crossed there's a window of brightness again tomorrow...
