Happy New Year!

We started 2023 with our traditional trip to Portobello New Year parkrun in Figgate Park. It’s a lovely park and I had a wee wander round the pond before our run started. (Another photo in extras). Yesterday’s parkrun at Portobello was cancelled due to a lot of water on the course and the Figgate Burn was still a bit of a torrent, but at least not overflowing. Today, fortunately, there were only a couple of slightly muddy, puddley bits on the course, but nothing we couldn’t safely negotiate. Around 300 folk completed the run - obviously the best hangover cure!
