Last night... let me say... I hope no scared dogs, or people for that matter, were in the area because... all hell broke loose around midnight. Fireworks from every direction, loud bangs echoing around the buildings... One little child became so frightened by the loud noises he or she started crying. Imagine children coming from war... 
Of course, it's beautiful with all the sparkles and lights and patterns, and I do enjoy it when it's in some distance and not on top of me. One group of people had tilted the box with the fireworks so they flew to the side. Thankfully they were in the football field and wasn't 'aimed' agains the buildings, and other groups of people were in a safe distance. 
I enjoy taking photos and videos of the fireworks, but I'm happy it's just one day (or in my area one week...) /year. (rant over...)

I hope 2023 has started well for all of you and that it'll continue being a good year. :)
