A good start

E was celebrating the New Year with his friends. Y recently moved into his own place, on the top floor of the building, with an awesome view over the city. No surprise the friends were meeting there.

Husband and I got the house to ourselves and took advantage of that: music we like playing a bit louder then usual and without anyone around disliking the choices. A nice trip on memory lane.

An hour or 2 before midnight an text message showed up from the friends: if maybe we would like to come watch the fireworks from the roof with them?

Our daughter and son-in-law had a great time too. They send us several photos of their party all evening and night. It’s nice to see them enjoying their selves.
