Intended to plant three roses thatJ had bought me for Christmas but it started to pour with rain just as I was finishing the second so the third will have to wait. Couldn’t be bothered to go to the supermarket so shopped locally at the fishmongers, green grocers, bakers etc. Made a fish pie for tomorrow ( v complicated recipe but delicious) and chocolate mousse for this evening. Su got in touch in the afternoon to say Lulu was having her kittens. Here is number 1. Did a couple of Saturday jobs and then Su arrived for dinner. Went to bed about 11.15 but didn’t sleep until after the fireworks
