New Year

After a wonderful night in the local last night a nice steady morning was on the cards .  When I left the pub last night I walked to meet Julie from work then a walk home where we enjoyed a couple more drinks at home.

Early afternoon we went for a walk for our New Year Tradition  with a slight change as in the past we normally go to Burger king but seeing as one closed the other year and the other was only doing Takeaway so a trip to McDonalds for lunch then on to visit Mum and wish her a Happy New Year. I took this shot looking up the river near to mums a rather grey day but there is a little bit of light and colour from the sun hiding behind the clouds.
Back home now for a relaxed evening probably watch some TV with Grace as tomorrow she will head back up to Leeds after her Stay with us.
