Inspired by an old coffee shop.
This listed building, in the centre of Kendal, is popular with locals and visitors alike. It was originally a pack-horse inn and dates back to 1637, but the shop was re-fronted in 1822.
In 1719 the business was bought by John Farrer, who sold freshly roasted coffee and fine selected teas.
I’ll be inside soon for a coffee and a scone - and another blipfoto, naturally.
