Welcoming the light

Sue and I went for a lovely New Year's Day walk up in Mt. Tabor Park around noon, just as the light was breaking through the fog. May it be an omen.

May there be more justice, more peace, more human kindness.

I am grateful for all your generous messages on New Year's Eve, and for the medial off-loading brace for my right knee, one of the gifts of 2022. I'm able to walk without pain, without a cane, without a knee replacement. May it continue to be so, and may we all be able to work for justice and be replenished by beauty.
