BIRTHDAY BOYS

We left home about 10 with a very very full car!!! So glad I suggested The Rev buys a roof box! We collected Mum and drove; in the pouring rain, down to Worthing. We stopped for a sandwich lunch. It was a shame the weather was so awful as we sat by the sea reading!!!!!
We eventually got to our cottage at 3. It’s perfect for the 6 of us and all on the flat for Mum. J, O and A (O’s new girlfriend) arrived about 3:30.
Cuppa and biscuits sorted and plans made for the evening.
I had prepped the Beef Bourguignon yesterday so O and I just jazzed it up!!! We had chorizo and chilli prawns to start and birthday cake for dessert. In between courses we played charades and Who Am I? Afterwards we played Perudo….O always wins and did again!!
It wasn’t long before the birthday celebrations stopped and the New Year’s bubbly flowed!! The fireworks in London were again impressive and it lovely to be together to see them.
