Loony Dook 2023 at Kinghorn

There was a big turnout for the traditional New Year Loony Dook at noon today. It was organised by Kinghorn Lifeboat who provided 4 lifeguards in the water plus the lifeboat standing by offshore. None were needed.

Some wore wetsuits and others wore fancy dress but several just wore their swimming costumes.  The braver ones went right in but many chickened out before that.

My two great-grandchildren and their father were amongst those taking part.
