The 12 days of Christmas

Now that Xmas  seemingly starts somewhere around the middle of August, leaving everything decorated until the 6th might be just a touch passe.
Or, the other way of looking at it is that the boss made an executive decision that all decorations would be taken down today, including any other acoutrements such as crackers.
