Walking up the Arrow Gorge…
….. ….. this morning.
There was still a lot of 4WD traffic on the track but I managed by having Missy on a leash in the narrow parts, and signaling to drivers when we needed to find a safer place. It worked.
It’s been another hot day, and getting back home at lunchtime helped avoid the later heat.
I’ve been reading the Biography of Shackleton by Ralph Fiennes. I’m riveted! He makes all the extreme adventuring come alive; it’s graphic in spots.
The photos are of Missy; on the shelved track, taking a shortcut by walking through the river, and Missy trying to clamber over the irrigation pipe, next to the Pressure Relief Pipe.
