Christchurch, NZ
I had a wonderful day in the city with fellow blipper JMK by my side. Unfortunately the weather wasn't on our side, it really did feel like winter with wind and rain, we spent time catching up over coffee and lunch before taking in the city sights with our cameras.
We wandered along the Avon River where the newly restored Thomas Edmond's Band Rotunda stands, it was built in 1929 but was severely damaged in the 22 Feb 2011 earthquake. New Regent Street features in the bottom two shots of the collage, a short street which is always 'alive', great atmosphere with music, cafes and bars, quaint with its decor and vibrant murals.
Thank you J for a lovely day 'out and about', so looking forward to next time.
I'm extremely late getting this up as we're already into 2023. Hoping the year ahead is happy and healthy to all.
Happy Friday everyone :)
