Orchid

Today I’m grateful to the time spent with family at Luke’s place. A New Year’s brunch with time spent cooking, chatting and playing Xbox games.

This afternoon Michael and I retired to the couch after everyone had left, no expectations beyond relaxing through till bedtime (introverts recovering).

The orchid was a gift and has a place on the kitchen bench for as long as it is flowering - beautiful!
