Over time I’ve been fixed
With pieces of fencing wire
The joins are not so neat
But unlikely as it seems
I sometimes think they are stronger
Than what I had before
Time will test and time will tell
As time always does
If the fixing lasts
If I hold (it all) together
If I’m still standing
When fixing time comes again
