Sunbathing

At first I thought I'd spotted a rare visitor but no. Just a bluetit enjoying the first sunshine we've seen for a while. Once it was out of the tree and into the shade its apparently red feathers were revealed to be what you'd expect.

Who wouldn't enjoy this morning's blue sky, still frosty air and winter sun. Make the most of it!

We're off to Glasgow today for lunch. We should have been there for Wigilia. This certainly is a persistent virus but it'll be good to see some of the family today.

When I got up this morning I set to and took down the remainder of the Christmas decorations. 2nd January is usually my day for returning things to a more ordinary appearance. I do enjoy the lack of clutter (till it all builds up again).
