Walk in the woods.

What a difference a day makes. After having a lie in, we decided to make the most of such a glorious day and along with our youngest son and Rory dog, we drove to Judy Woods for a walk. As expected there were a lot of cars already parked up. Some on double yellow lines which had parking tickets stuck on the windscreen. Some people never learn.

As expected it was quite muddy in places. However Rory is very good at avoiding the worst bits. ( see photo)
We found a new path we haven’t been down before, and it took us back to the village past a wonderful old house. Have since discovered it was built about 1650. Will try and photograph it when we do the walk again.

It was certainly good to get out in the fresh air after having been cooped up inside for a few days. You may even spot my shadow in one of the photos.
I do appreciate these days at this time of year.
We even saw the buds of a willow tree beginning to open. You could just see the white tips of the pussy willow.

We certainly enjoyed Happy Valley last night.
