Christmas Dinner

After having the last two Christmases on our own because of Covid, we hosted both sets of Grandparents this year! We had a set of Bingo crackers which kept everyone entertained whilst Mum and Dad served up the feast. After dinner we played 'Shout Out!', and some 'True or False' then watched the Strictly Christmas Special and The Wheel at Christmas on TV, with a break in between so Orla could perform her monologe from Peter Pan.

As usual, Dad videoed the opening of presents from Santa in the morning. Then played Super Smash Brothers (Conor's favourite present) with Orla and Conor whilst Mum made dinner preparations.

Grandma and Grandad arrived just after noon and Gran and Papa arrived soon after. We had mince pies and cheese and opened more presents. Orla played 'Walking In The Air' on the piano and later we watched some of the premiere of Aladdin.

Later Orla performed a scene as Captain Hook from the panto she was in this year and we watched the Morecombe and Wise 1972 Christmas Show and Papa, Grandad and Dad enjoyed some whisky.
