Muddy feet!!

Today we took the kids on a 4 mile walk to see Thor’s cave in the Peak District.

It had a few little inclines and the views were beautiful, the cave was very muddy and the boys coats, trousers and shoes ended up filthy! They all wash though!

We saw lots of families out making the most of the bank holiday!

The kids were fascinated by the caves but. The highlight was watching the death defying sheep scramble across the rocky hill top!

While the first three miles of the walk were all sunshine’s and rainbows the kids decided the last mile was too much and they were too hungry and the sandwiches provided did not touch the sides!

Luckily they all made it back to the car and back to civilisation for a big hearty meal!

Back to reality of work for Paul and I tomorrow after two weeks off I feel refreshed and ready to start again!
