Balgray Reservoir
A frosty morning which deterred me from taking a longish walk. Instead I caught up on emails etc which should have been sent before Christmas, and much more fun - planning my second Camino. I intend to follow the Portuguese coastal route to Pontevedra and switch to the Spiritual Variant to Padron. The new easyJet flight from Glasgow to Porto is a huge bonus.
After lunch, and after the frost and some of the ice had melted I went to Balgray Reservoir. The water level is still really low, I think some significant drainage has happened, you could walk out to the area which is normally an island. There were hundreds of Canada Geese, and pair of swans almost invisible in amongst them all. Face numbing cold.
