Swan

Feeling a bit better again today, but still not free of this virus.  Tim had been awake in the night, so slept in a bit this morning, and we had another late start.  Didn't do too much (again), but we did head out for a short walk this afternoon.  It ended up being a very short one indeed for Tim, who seems to have a tear in his calf muscle and couldn't manage more than a couple of hundred yards.  He headed back home, and I carried on to the pond, where I bumped into our former neighbour and her daughter, who was feeding the geese - and this swan.  Had a nice long chat with M - v sad to learn that she and her husband have separated - must be very hard for them all.

Had another game of Scrabble with Tim when I got home, then I cooked him some dinner so he could rest his poorly leg.
