Flooded Fields
A better day was forecast but the morning saw occasional showers. As my morning went west after sleep was delayed until after 4am this mattered little. More blue sky after a late lunch saw me and Meg heading for Bryncrug, a couple of miles inland. Likely too wet for the riverbank path, instead we crossed the Dysynni and walked back towards the sea along a little used lane. The best views were with the low sun behind us, the main blip, Craig yr Aderyn caught in the sunlight, as we set out, the extra with the last band of sun on Caders' slopes as we crossed the river on our way back. A nice and much needed walk.
Jamie and I cooked chilli for tea which was shared with Ruth. We've enjoyed special hot chocolate (thanks B) and cookies while playing games after. Really hoping for an early and undisturbed night's sleep.
