Although there was a cold wind it was a glorious sunny day for the first picnic of the year as we walked along the coast.  This beach seldom has any litter of any sort but today there were some glass and plastic bottles and tins and many tree branches with some very large tree trunks just visible in the water.   Hopefully they did not cause any great damage to the small fishing boats which work offshore.
