Red in the morning, sailor's warning.

This photo shows the sunrise from my front room window this morning about 6:30am. The saying above, which suggests imminent rain, immediately popped into my head. And, sure enough, the rain started up around 9:00 this morning, and has continued much of the day since.

After several years of near drought conditions, we are getting lots of rain. While I am glad the land is getting a good soaking, like many of my fellow native Californians, I'm already wondering when it will end. Predictions are that we have another week of this at least. On the bright side, I am getting lots of art and house projects done.
