Journey

A long day - mid morning start in icy conditions with sparkling blue skies , reasonably peaceful traffic till south of Lancaster when we started to meet all the post Christmas traffic , made worse by rail strikes and weather.
Then the journey back , mostly in the dark. However N is safely delivered home and we’ll see him again in April all going well when my two sisters and their husbands come over. He plans to come up again which will be lovely.
