F1 in Schools

F1 in Schools is an international competition for school children (aged 9-19), in which groups of 3 - 6 students work together. The students to set up their own Formula 1 team and run it as a mini-enterprise project. They are responsible for managing budgets, marketing & branding, sourcing sponsorship and designing, manufacturing and racing a miniature gas-powered balsa-wood Formula 1 car. The UAE programme is based at Yas Marina Circuit

Today was the culmination of a year's hard work, competing in the National competition at Yas Circuit. The boys were in the F1 Rookie Class, and learnt a lot from the older kids.
