Me and my boys

The reason for this whole endeavour. A birthday with a big number but not the start of a new decade, that's next year. 

A badge at breakfast, a wee walk over the road to see the river, then a swim.

The first event was the River Cruise. Bit fraught as we had an abortive attempt to get drinks for all from Hooters. However WH who'd been meeting friends was able we to join us. 

The afternoon was spent at Coastal Settlement, best Changi, for Asian afternoon tea, but no freeflow wine (public holiday). But I did get a mention from the resident DJ, Dancing Queen.

The last event was the Night Safari. There was a lot of walking as we did the trails after the tram ride and the show. It was really good, though really hot. 

Finally, after a break neck taxi ride home there was complimentary fizz, amazing mega party poppers (left over from Hogmanay) cards and presents. We did spill into 3rd but it was still 2nd in UK.

I got a number of random greetings: my IFA, Birthday Alarm, Qatar Airways, Body Shop, even my Garmin gave me a cupcake.
